Temas e enfoques contemporâneos nas Ciências Sociais e Humanas no Brasil: expressões e tendências refletidas no V congresso da área / Contemporary themes and approaches in social and human sciences in Brazil: manifestations and trends in the field's fifth national congress

O V Congresso de Ciências Sociais e Humanas em Saúde da ABRASCO (São Paulo, Brasil, 2011) teve como tema central O Lugar das Ciências Sociais na Saúde Coletiva e propiciou um amplo processo de reflexão acerca da abrangência e importância das contribuições desta área ao campo da Saúde Coletiva. Este artigo discutirá a produção científica do evento, procurando, oportunamente, traçar tendências e perspectivas contemporâneas da área. No conjunto da programação científica, deter-me-ei na produção veiculada nos Grupos Temáticos (GT), metodologia que por primeira vez foi experimentada em congressos da ABRASCO, e que se constituiu no eixo central da programação científica do evento. A principal estratégia metodológica adotada foi a análise documental, apoiada nas seguintes fontes: os Anais do V Congresso de Ciências Sociais e Humanas em Saúde; o relatório final do evento. A análise comparada com os achados de revisão recente sobre a produção da área revelou permanência em termos de temas dominantes. Evidenciou-se também um incremento significativo das microanálises.

The central theme of the 5th National Congress on Social and Human Sciences in Health held by ABRASCO in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2011 was The Place of Social Sciences in Public Health, fostering a broad process of reflection on the scope and importance of this area's contributions to the field of public health. The article discusses the event's scientific output, seeking to outline contemporary trends and perspectives in the area. Within the event's scientific program, the author focuses on the work produced by the Thematic Groups, a methodology tested for the first time in ABRASCO congresses and which has become the program's central thrust. The principal methodological strategy was document analysis, drawing on the proceedings of the 5th National Congress on Social and Human Sciences in Health and the event's final report. A comparison with the findings of a recent review on the field's output showed that the predominant themes remained the same. There was also a significant increase in microanalyses.

Estudio co-rrelacional del área socio-humanística en algunas instituciones de educación superior en Colombia / A correlational study of the socio-humanistic area in some higher educational institutions in Colombia

Hace una descripción comparativa de los componentes curriculares que integran la unidad en cada una de las seccionales USB Colombia y otras instituciones tenidas en cuenta para el presente estudio.

The following text introduces a description and analysis of the information obtained from documentary and statistical consultation in the various universities. It makes a comparative description of the curricular components that make up the unit in each of the Saint Bonaventure University branches, Colombia, and other higher institutions which are taken into consideration for the current study.

Objetivos educacionais na pedagogia das humanidades médicas: taxonomias alternativas (campos de significado e competências) / Educational objectives in the teaching of medical humanities: alternative taxonomies (realms of meanings and competencies)

Os currículos médicos estão preocupados em formar médicos detentores de traços humanísticos, que passam, assim, a ser objetivos educacionais. Deve-se desenvolver, então, a sua pedagogia. Como objetivos, podem ser tratados pedagogicamente com base nos corpos conceituais teóricos que informam o planejamento de currículos, como a taxonomia de objetivos educacionais clássica, que compreende os domínios cognitivo, afetivo e psicomotor. Esta taxonomia dá conta de muitos dos objetivos relacionados aos traços humanísticos, organizando-os e facilitando a tarefa de planejamento educacional nessa área, mas deixa marginalizados alguns aspectos do conhecimento humano cruciais para as Humanidades, como os objetivos que se referem a autoconhecimento, amadurecimento e à individuação, reconhecimento dos próprios sentimentos e habilidades de comunicação interpessoal. Devem-se, então, buscar outros sistemas conceituais como referenciais teóricos mais adequados às Humanidades. É possível que se possa usar as taxonomias de maneira aditiva, procurando objetivos humanísticos em cada uma das categorias e subcategorias das diversas taxonomias. Assim, aumenta-se a abrangência do corpo de objetivos educacionais de natureza humanística.

Medical curricula are concerned with preparing physicians with humanistic traits. Thus, these traits become educational objectives, for which a teaching method needs to be developed. As objectives, they can be handled pedagogically on the basis of the theoretical conceptual body that informs curriculum planning such as the classical taxonomy of educational objectives. This taxonomy can cover a great number of objectives related to these humanistic traits, organizing them and making the task of curriculum planning in this area easier; it leaves unmapped however some crucial aspects of human knowledge, such as objectives regarding self-knowledge, self-development, individuation, awareness of personal feelings and inter-personal communication skills. Thus, other conceptual systems with theoretical references more adequate for the Humanities. Should be considered. Both are reviewed in this paper. These conceptual systems should be used in addition to each other and to the classical taxonomy, allowing humanistic objectives to be sought in each of their categories and subcategories. This way, the range of humanistic teaching objectives can be increased.
